DAY 1: ARIVAL IN HANOI
Upon arrival to Noi Bai International airport, Hanoi, you will be warmly welcomed by your tour guide and driver, transferred to the hotel for check in, approximately 35-minute driving from the airport. The remainder of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight in Hanoi

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR
Start your city tour of Hanoi this morning at 8.30 AM, the featured spots of the city includes the complex of Ho Chi Minh President’s Mausoleum, one-pillar pagoda, the Temple of Literature which is considered as Vietnam’s first university, Hoa Lo or Hilton Prison, Ethnology Museum. End the day with a relaxing cyclo ride in Hanoi's Old Quarter – a maze of streets, each one traditionally devoted to a different product or industry, witness local daily life in this lively area. Lunch with Hanoi’s specialty at a restaurant.

DAY 3: HANOI - MAI CHAU
The morning drive will take you through beautiful rural scenery of green paddies, forested hills and karst formations to Hoa Binh province. Stop for a visit to a village of Muong minority people located in an evergreen valley. Wandering around to learn about their typical lifestyle and tradition before enjoying the local lunch served in a local stilt house. In the afternoon, make your way to Thung Nai dock to embark on a motorized boat for a gentle cruise on Hoa Binh Lake. Sitting on the open deck of the boat, you are able to enjoy the picturesque scenery while cruising on this large reservoir. After about 2,5 hrs, get on land and walk to visit a cottage industry of making bamboo chop sticks. Followed by a short drive to Mai Chau Valley. Check in a home-stay and then take a stroll around the village to learn and experience the rhythm of local’s daily life. Dinner tonight is cooked and served by the host family.
Overnight in the local traditional stilt-house.

DAY 4: MAI CHAU - NINH BINH
This morning, you may be woken up early by domestic animals such as roosters and other earlier birds... After the breakfast, immerse yourself in the countryside atmosphere on a soft trek to the surroundings. The trek lasts for roughly 2 hours. This is a great way to learn about the local agriculture on the fields and gardens while passing through some stilt-house villages. Return to the base for lunch and packing up your language. Bid farewell to the host family after lunch then take the afternoon drive to Ninh Binh province. You are able to have some stops on the way for photographing if you wish. Check in your accommodation on arrival and take it easy until dinner time.Overnight in Ninh Binh

DAY 5: NINH BINH (TAM COC) - HANOI
Spend most of the day to explore this breath-taking karst landscape. Start your day with a short transfer to a local boat dock where you will take a 2-hour sampan boat ride on a little river. The ride enables you to admire the sheer limstone mountains while you are moving through three tunnel-like caves. if you comes at the right time, the wet rice paddies at the sides make the scenery even more dramatic. After the three caves, your local rower just takes an U turn and move toward the starting point. Get dropped off at Thanh station where you will walk back to the center. Pay a visit to a modest stone temple, called Thai Vi on the way. Lunch is at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, continue on the day with 1,5-hour bicycling tour to another part of the area. Your tour guide will lead the way during the back-road cycling. About 3:30 PM, get back on your private vehicle and make your way to Hanoi. Check in your Hanoi hotel again for the night. Dinner is on your own account.

DAY 6: HANOI - SAPA
You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi in the early morning (about 7.30AM) for travelling to Sapa. The drive is mainly on the HW Noi Bai – Lao Cai, this is the longest highway in Vietnam. The scenic drive from the Red River Delta, through the midland to Lao Cai province will be a good start for your sapa trip. Arrive in Sapa by noon. Have lunch at a restaurant in town and check in to the hotel for a short rest and refresh (If the room is available by the time you arrive). The rest of the afternoon is spent for about 7-km trek on a narrow concrete path from Ma Tra village to Ta Phin Village of the Black H’mong people and the Red Yao.
Overnight in Sapa.

DAY 7: SAPA - HANOI
This morning, after your breakfast, you will embark on another trek to visit Muong Hoa Valley, this is the biggest and the most impressive valley in the region. The trek offers you a great scenery over the large valley which is decorated by amazing rice terraces and dotted by many villages of Y Linh Ho & Lao Chai. This is where the Black H'mong and the Giay ethnic groups inhabit. Along the trek, the tour guide will help you learning about the daily life of the locals while admire the beauty of the landscape. Back to Sapa for lunch before your long drive on the same HW back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi in the early evening. Check in your hotel again for the night.

DAY 8: HANOI - CAT BA ISLAND - HALONG BAY
In order to catch up with the 9-hour hydrofoil to Cat Ba Island from Ben Binh port, Hai Phong City, you will start driving this morning at 7:00 AM from Hanoi. The hydrofoil ride takes you about 45 minutes. Arrive at Cat Ba port where you will get a short transfer to Beo wharf. From here, you will embark on a private traditional boat for cruising to visit Lan Ha Bay and Halong Bay. During the cruise you will have time to do some kayaking to explore some hidden tunnel-like caves through some limestone sheer islands. Once the anchor is dropped for the night place, you are free to jump off the boat for swimming (if the weather permits). Relaxing and having dinner on the boat.

DAY 9: HALONG BAY - CAT BA ISLAND - HANOI
If you are an early bird today, you may have chance to enjoy the sunrise from the open deck on the top before having the breakfast. This morning, the boat will continue on taking you to visit other part of the bay with a visit to a fishing farm to learn about the method of the local fishermen, doing fish farming on the bay. early lunch is served while the boat is winding gently back to Cai Beo wharf for ending your cruise by noon. Get the transfer back to Cat Ba little town for a short break at a cafe' while waiting for the afternoon hydrofoil back to the main land. On landing at Binh port, you will take your private transport back to Hanoi for the last night of your trip. The rest of the day is yours.

DAY 10: DEPARTURE FROM HANOI
Today is free at leisure until getting transferred to the airport for your flight off. Safe travel.
